Child Support

Children need financial support from their parents – and they have a legal right to it. When parents separate or divorce, they should try to agree on the amount of child support. If they ask a court to decide, the court will use guidelines to determine child support payments. Some child support guidelines fall under federal law, while others are under provincial or territorial law.

Parenting Time

Parenting time refers to the time your child spends in your care, regardless of whether the child is physically with you during that time (for example, if the child is at school). You have the right to:

  • Parenting time, unless the court decides it is not in the child’s best interest

  • know information about your children’s health, education and general situation

Supervised parenting time can provide a neutral and safe setting for visits between children and a parent, or other family member who does not have decision-making responsibility. We can help, Parents to agree on a supervised parenting time agreement, or it can be required by the court process.

Spousal Support

Spousal Support is money paid by one spouse to the other after they separate or divorce. It is sometimes called alimony or maintenance. Many factors may affect whether a married or common-law spouse is entitled to spousal support and how much support they should receive. we ahve extensive expertise in helping cleints to receive spousal support they deserve.
